Anavila Misra brought handwoven Linen saris into India’s fashionscape. She launched her label ‘Anavila’ at a small exhibition in Mumbai in 2011, and followed it up with several more shows.

All Heirloom and Nurtured Saris are complete with handsewn fall and pallus picoted / handstitched/ tasselled. Some have extra cloth attached to the first tuck, for additional length / girth. The Textiles are in mint condition and have been washed, starched and ironed, as applicable. Any visible flaw is mentioned in the pictures or accompanying descriptions.
