Solid Indigo coloured Matka sari with grey coloured Jamdani chevrons on pallu.
Established in 2002, Bailou started with the idea of making handloom trendy and contemporary, when founder couple Bappaditya and his wife Rumi Biswas realised that Bengal textile was declining. Their love and inclination to push the boundaries of handloom and to try and create new textures was the prime focus. Original blouse piece included.

All Heirloom and Nurtured Saris are complete with handsewn fall and pallus picoted / handstitched/ tasselled. Some have extra cloth attached to the first tuck, for additional length / girth. The Textiles are in mint condition and have been washed, starched and ironed, as applicable. Any visible flaw is mentioned in the pictures or accompanying descriptions.
