Maroon coloured Tanchoi Brocade sari with Katan mulberry yarn in both warp and weft, with interwoven real zari motifs.

Tanchoi is a Satin weave technique where the motifs are created using the primary weft. A traditional Tanchoi will have narrow borders, in the same colours of the body. Pls check the reverse of the sari, given in photographs – a mark of an authentic Tanchoi.

All Heirloom and Nurtured Saris are complete with handsewn fall and pallus picoted / handstitched/ tasselled. Some have extra cloth attached to the first tuck, for additional length / girth. The Textiles are in mint condition and have been washed, starched and ironed, as applicable. Any visible flaw is mentioned in the pictures or accompanying descriptions.
