A restored family textile with real zari meenakari Banarasi brocade borders, handstitched on to a relatively new Virgin Tussar yardage. The scalloped design of the borders has been carefully cut-out and deftly stitched onto the base material. The Pallu retains the original maroon coloured pure Katan base of the Banarasi to which a vintage Parsi crochet border inlaid with zari, has been added to give it a finished tasselled look.

All Heirloom and Nurtured Saris are complete with handsewn fall and pallus picoted / handstitched/ tasselled. Some have extra cloth attached to the first tuck, for additional length / girth. The Textiles are in mint condition and have been washed, starched and ironed, as applicable. Any visible flaw is mentioned in the pictures or accompanying descriptions.
