Revival Inky Blue Kanjivaram

Inky blue Kanjivaram that has been revived combining popular elements from 60s-70s. A solid blue body with tiny tested / half-fine zari buttas, broad shot olive and ochre yellow borders. The base of the sari and the borders are demarcated by a solid emerald band with woven white stripes, followed by Seepu-Reu (comb tooth) dense zari border, once found in saris of yesteryears. The petni (hand-interlocked) pallu has the traditional flag-like pattern or Ettukol with woven tested / half-fine zari. Ettukol meaning "eight sticks". It is a weaving technique that uses a four-pedal loom with eight "kols" (bamboo rods), allowing for complex designs and a rich depth in the saree. Weight 480 gms
