Taala Pattachitra

An extremely fine handcrafted Taala Pattachitra with flippable panels depicting Dashavatar or the ten forms of Lord Vishnu. Each panel can be flipped open to reveal a new design. The pin-tip fine paintings have been hand-etched on a string of palm leaves and highlighted with the black of lampblack or kohl. It can be framed or be left around unassumingly rolled up, for guests to discover the ancient art of recording and story-telling. Handcrafted by a Government awardee.
