Vintage handwoven Vidharbha Karvati Kinar with narrow borders and simple woven pallu, with all over handblocked prints in charcoal and terracotta shades. A ‘Kanishka’s’ product. Established in 1970 in Kolkata by the founders Dilip & Nandita Raja and named after their first born; Kanishka’s is defined by its handblock printed saris. Designed entirely in-house their block print designs embrace Indian folk and indigenous motifs. A Kanishka’s design is distinctive and stands apart. Considered to be a pioneer in the modern revival of the handblock printing process in India.
