Vintage Double Ikkat Telia Cotton

A bold vintage organic dyed pure cotton Telia saree in double ikkat weave. The sari is divided in two parts horizontally across the width till the pallu starts. The lower section is in black  (rusted iron fillings and amla) while the top is in maroon (madder). The step-like band running through mid-section and the bands on the borders are in ochre shade (pomegranate rinds). The pallu is in solid ochre shade with traditional telia motifs all over. Starch stains on the body will go with wash.
